In April 2022, I had to pleasure of tagging along with the Streeter Family as they checked out the Magic Kingdom! Kera was gifted a family trip to Disney World and I asked if I could join for a few days to document it all. Travel isn’t always fun and it doesn’t always go the way you want it to go. I am just so thankful it happened to us and not them. Adam and I got delayed at the airport for two days so unfortunately I only got to meet up with them for one day, and it was only 1/2 a day because Kera was tired and then it decided to downpour! I totally understood and did my best to capture all that I could. I personally didn’t want to overtake the trip seeing that it was theirs…. I was able to help in the ways I could, when asked I was able to give my opinion as to what they should see and what Genie Plus could offer up. The way the day worked out was we only got to see Tomorrowland and FantasyLand and they were able to go back for a second day and finish the rest of the park!!
*Adam was amazing during this process and I need to praise him for being so “go with the flow” and do whatever it took to make this happen for Kera.
Kera came back from the trip and when down hill very fast. She passed away 3 1/2 weeks after getting home. I am so thankful she was gifted this trip for her and her family. What an amazing family trip. I was able to film some video while there as well…..this is why I am thankful I do vlogging….so I can look back on days like this.
Kera only took one photo that day and I will cherrish it forever.
I do miss Kera and I know everyone who knew her feels the same. I have gotten to see Grayson and Ady since and have given them many bear hugs!
Much love, Miranda
