A photo shoot is more than just a way to get pretty pictures; it’s a way to remember–how we felt when we got engaged, how we looked when we were eight months pregnant, or what life was like when our kids were little.

When you think of the perfect photo shoot, you probably don’t think of your toddler having a meltdown and your dog peeing on the artisan vintage etsy picnic blanket, but I’ve seen it all, and believe me, outtakes are often the most treasured and showcased images of all.

Don’t get me wrong; I will get a cute pose. But if your kid’s not having it, I’m not above chasing after your toddler with a camera to get some candid shots too (I find that offering a balloon mid-chase makes the experience slightly less terrifying). I like to have fun and I’ll do my best to help you relax and enjoy yourself, too!
