Ten years I have been a full time photographer. WHAT? Life it just flies by. Ten years….I am still trying to put down my words on how I feel about it.
10 years as a full-time photographer. That’s 10 years of weddings, boudoir sessions, maternity, newborn, specialty events, and everyday family sessions. That’s hours of countless edits, emails, telephone calls, texts, Facebook messages and so on. That’s 10 years of relationships formed. That’s 10 years of amazing memories, laughter, tears of sadness, tears of joy, those moments that really tug your heartstrings, and that’s 10 years of crazy amazing beautiful moments. And even more moments that I will never forget like when I photographed my first wedding back in 2003. I had no clue what I was getting myself into but I knew I loved taking pictures and I knew I had an eye for capturing those little moments, I had the equipment, I had half the knowledge I do now and I booked it. I book that first wedding and that was the start of my life today. Back 2008 I had the chance to make the leap into full-time and I did it. I did it without knowing what life was going to be like. I did it without knowing how hard it was going to be or how easy was going to be or how fun it was going to be. I did it because I could do it and I knew I could do it in the back my mind even with the tiniest little thought of doubt I knew I could do it Here I am 10 years later doing it. Thank you to my clients, thank you to my family, thank you to my friends, thank you to anybody who has ever supported me. I thank you. I thank you. I thank you.
Much love, Miranda
